By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton has begun reaching out to the community to complete the funding for its planned new home on Fruit Street. Nearly ten years since they started working toward building the facility, Baypath has $4 million but needs another $2.5 million. Officials tell the Hopkinton Independent they hope to start construction sometime next year, and once they start it will take about a year to build the new facility, which they say will be about four times bigger than their current one.
