ByMyFM’s Claire Beverly – Franklin’s Grove Street is down to just one lane this week for the continuing construction for upgrades to the Beaver Street Interceptor. Officials say the work is happening 7am-4pm all this week along Route 140 south towards the MBTA train tracks. At the Franklin Recreation Center, the construction of the new Interceptor Pump Station will continue with excavation to get the final grade depth for the pump station foundation. The 90-year-old Interceptor is considered Franklin’s most critical sewer asset.
