By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Westborough dog owners are getting closer to a dog park after a recent setback. At a Select Board meeting this month, the Recreation Department Director said they are again putting out bids to build a dog park at Lake Chauncy after the first attempt didn’t pan out. The Community Advocate reports the first try had only one bid come in, and it was at $480,000 which was over the $357,000 budget. She said if they get a good bid this time, they hope to start construction in November and be done by spring time.
