By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton is disbanding its two trails committees. At their meeting this week the Select Board voted to dissolve both the Upper Charles Trail Committee and the Trails Coordination and Management Committee. The May 2023 Town Meeting voted to move the Upper Charles Committee under the Management Committee, but the Hopkinton Independent reports after several months and lengthy discussions, the Select Board decided a fresh start would be in the greater public interest.
