By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – September is Hunger Action Month and the Franklin Food Pantry has a free event tonight called “Wasted Food, Hunger, and the Climate Emergency: How Food Recovery Helps.” Liz Miller of food recovery organization Spoonful will present on how collecting fresh, edible food that would otherwise go to waste, and distributing it to social service agencies like The Pantry can help address food insecurity. The event is free but you do need to register with a link on the Pantry’s website https://www.franklinfoodpantry.org/
