By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton Town Manager Elaine Lazarus is now officially on the job. At their meeting Tuesday night the Select Board unanimously approved a three-year contract for Lazarus who was actually appointed and began working in July and had already been serving as interim Town Manager since the beginning of the year when longtime Town Manager Norman Khumalo left for the private sector. The Hopkinton Independent reports Lazarus has worked for the town in several different capacities for about 30 years.
