By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Town of Wrentham has been honored for how town staff put together its budget. Town Manager Kevin Sweet says Wrentham has received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for its Fiscal 2025 budget. The GFOA judges town budgets on four criteria: as a policy document, a financial plan, an operations guide and a communications device. Sweet says this is the first time Wrentham has ever received this award.
