By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – A plan for flood management for communities on the Charles River has gotten about $330,000 in new grants. Patch reports the Charles River Climate Compact regional municipal partnership, which is led by the Charles River Watershed Association, includes Milford, Franklin, Medway, Millis and several other towns. The money is from the state’s Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Program and will help with the Association’s ongoing efforts to shore up the watershed during extreme weather that leads to flooding.
