By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Nearly a year since it began, the Framingham Adult English as a Second Language program’s expansion into Milford has gotten a $300,000 grant to keep growing. The Daily News reports the grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York will be used to add seven ESL classes, hire six new part-timers and a full-time administrator to oversee it, and upgrade some of the classroom technology. Officials say they can currently take about 1,200 students but the grant will allow them to expand to up to about 1,500.
