By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Hopkinton Fire Department is auctioning off one of its old fire engines. According to the website Municibid.com the opening bid was set for $5,000 for the 2002 E-One Pumper Cyclone that has about 48,000 miles on it. It has a 1,200-gallon water tank and 10,000-watt generator. Officials tell the Hopkinton Independent the truck had reached its life expectancy and the town recently bought two new trucks.
