By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – There’s a major shift coming in the rebuild of the I-495 and I-90 Interchange. MassDOT says they will be shifting the I-495 Southbound mainline travel lanes into the median from just north of the MBTA railroad bridge, over I-90, and to just before the Fruit Street overpass of I-495. During the work, all three I-495 Southbound lanes will be shifted into the median while crews demolish and then rebuild the existing roadway.
