By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – You may see a higher water bill in Hopkinton. The Town confirms that as of July 1 they enacted new rates the Select Board approved in June. Customers under 1,000 cubic feet will be billed the minimum of around $52. 1,001-8,000 cubic feet is about $6 per 100 cubic feet and more than 8,000 cubic feet will be billed about $13 per 100 cubic feet. But they also voted to implement some discounts of up to $200 per year on Water and Sewer Enterprise bills for certain residents. Check the town website to see if you are eligible.
