By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Franklin Police department has a new fundraiser you will be hard pressed to resist. They now have a little stuffed animal version of their therapy and comfort dog Frankie. You can buy a “Frankie” for $20, as well as Frankie police patches for $10. The proceeds benefit the department’s Community Service Unit, its Leadership Academy for kids and some of the costs associated with maintaining Frankie and her co-comfort dog Ben Franklin. Ben is used only for comfort, but Frankie can also search for missing kids.
