By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – So far, no charges have been filed after an SUV hit a woman in a wheelchair in Westborough Friday afternoon. Police Chief Todd Minardi says the Westborough woman was not in a crosswalk when her chair was hit on Route 9 at Lyman Street. She is currently in UMass Hospital with what are being called serious injuries including to her head. The Chief says the driver, who is from Northbridge, stayed on scene and has been cooperating and while no citation has been issued, they are still investigating.
