By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Holliston’s Special Town Election for a tax override ballot question for the school district is set for Tuesday September 10. Last week at a Special Town Meeting, voters approved the override by a majority triggering the need for an election. The Town says the override is needed because the new contract with the Holliston Federation of Teachers was not ratified until after the May 13 Town Meeting and the increase was not included in the 2025 budget. Officials say they had already cut 8 positions to meet that budget as it was.
