By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Holliston Special Town Meeting is tonight at 7pm at Holliston High School. The Warrant was requested from the School Committee for an operational tax override of around $1.1 million primarily to help fund salaries of teachers based on the new contract that was finalized after the May 13 Town Meeting had already voted on the school budget. If it passes it will also require passage at a local election which would be held before September 15. They say it would cost the average homeowner around $200.
