By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Fundraising has started for a $1.3 million campaign to highlight the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor with upgrades along the river. Patch reports the non-profit behind the plan wants to replace about 200 signs, recruit and train volunteers as part of the National Park Service’s Volunteers-In-Parks program, invest in some of the Blackstone River Valley organizations that focus on historical, cultural and environmental preservation and reportedly help with the finish the Blackstone River bikeway.
