By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Norfolk County’s 22 Mohawks is one of just 15 recipients of a series of grants from the state’s Executive Office of Veterans Services. A total of $2 million was awarded this week through the Veterans Community Initiative Grant program. 22 Mohawks, which focuses on veteran suicide prevention, is getting $53,000 toward behavioral healthcare, peer support activities, and facility upgrades. Other receipts include the Italian American War Veterans in East Boston and the New England Center and Home for Veterans.
