By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – This week’s Silent Saturdays film series at the Franklin Historical Museum features short films created by author L. Frank Baum, based on his book “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”. Franklin Artist and Videographer Chris Leverone who has developed the Silent Saturdays program with the Franklin Senior Center, says Baum created the films in the 1910’s. The showing is this Saturday May 11 at 6pm at the Franklin Historical Museum. They ask that you consider donating a non-perishable item for the Franklin Food Pantry.
