By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Wrentham is getting a federal grant toward upgrading the water quality. The nearly $960,000 federal funding will go toward infrastructure for a new public water source in West Wrentham, most likely within the Blackstone River Watershed. Officials say an additional water source will satisfy current critical water needs and allow for future development. And they say a third water source will lessen the strain on the Charles River and Taunton Watersheds and improve the water quality and pressure.
