By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – A police officer’s lawsuit against the town is reportedly on the agenda for a closed session of the Milford Select Board tonight. Patch reports Sgt. Kara Maguire, who was Milford’s first-ever female detective, filed suit in 2022 alleging gender discrimination due to being passed over for promotions, retaliation by the town for filing a gender discrimination complaint with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and sexual harassment. The town has reportedly denied the allegations and any liability.
