Prospect Street Closure: Franklin and Bellingham Residents Face Detours as Culvert Replacement Continues

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Franklin’s Prospect Street is closed from Oxford Drive to Lake Street at the Bellingham border for at least a week. The Department of Public Works has been working there since December 22 when a culvert headwall collapsed. They are now in the process of completely replacing the culvert with a new 48″ concrete pipe. Plan ahead because there is no great detour. In Franklin you can use Grove St and Washington St. In Bellingham, remember that Prospect is what S Maple St becomes when you cross into Franklin.
