Medway-Franklin Bridge Over Charles River Closed Due to Rising Waters

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The bridge over the Charles River between Medway and Franklin remains closed. On Tuesday MassDOT closed the bridge, also known as the Shaw Street Bridge and the Elm Street Bridge when the river started rising. Some River Flood Warnings remain in effect through this evening. Franklin Police remind you to not drive through the barricades or move them. Alternates include Pond Street (which is Franklin Street in Medway) and Lincoln Street (which is Sanford Street in Medway).
