Although possession was nearly even throughout the match, Canada created the better scoring opportunities and could have easily won by a wider margin. Instead, Eustáquio’s late heroics were enough to send the Canadians through, where they will face the winner of the Netherlands and Morocco.

Questions remain about whether Neymar will be in Brazil’s starting lineup, but regardless, the Seleção boast one of the tournament’s deepest and most talented squads. At 4:30 p.m., Germany faces Paraguay. Germany enters the knockout stage after an inconsistent group campaign outside of its dominant win over Curacao, while Paraguay hopes its defensive approach can overcome an attack that has struggled to score, finding the net just twice during group play.

The Netherlands enters having scored 10 goals during the group stage, while Morocco has impressed with one of the strongest midfields in the tournament.
