MILLBURY – On November 29th, Millbury PD’s Fill-A-Cruiser was a massive success. To continue supporting families in need, the police force encourages locals to donate clean and unwrapped gifts to their headquarters until the December 19th deadline.

Their headquarters are located at 127 Elm Street in Millbury, and is open 24/7 for gift donations, according to Sargeant Chris Polselli. Gifts for all ages are welcome and are not limited to toys. Additionally, families who are financially limited or affected by tragic events are welcome to visit and pick out gifts collected from the department’s Fill-A-Cruiser events.

This year’s Fill-A-Cruiser saw two pickup trucks, a cruiser, and the size of a pick-up truck filled with gift donations, according to Polselli.

“It says a lot about our residents…they have our back; we have their back” says Polselli. “They kind of know what our goal is, and we’re just trying to make it better for some people who are having a rough time”.
