Seniors in Westborough who need help with transportation are getting a boost thanks to a new partnership between the Council on Aging and the Worcester Regional Transit Authority to expand van service for out-of-town medical appointments such as to Worcester and Marlborough. The Community Advocate reports the partnership, which starts July 1, will help fill a need for the Council on Aging which has three vans that can only be used for out-of-town grocery store trips, but not for medical appointments.
