“What would you say you do here”?

For me, it's all about being a part of the community while we all enjoy the great music of MyFM together.  What could be more important than keeping the neighborhood  strong, informed...and all with a positive & fun atmosphere ? I'm proud to be a part of the daily routine for, literally, thousands of people each day.

Favorite Music:

Hey..that's alot like asking a parent: "Which is your favorite child ?" Ha ha. Having grown up on (and loved) much of the music for which MyFM is known, I truly enjoy the tunes which surround me here.  Other favorites include the Big Bands of the 1940s, Doo-Wop of the '50s and "the Rat Pack" in the '60s.

Favorite Movies:

Ultra-old school here.  My tastes tend to go wayback. Personal favorites include "Close Encounters" (1977), "Ocean's 11" (1960) and "Singing in the Rain" (1952). But my all-time favorite is "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World." I've watched this 1963 classic dozens of times.

Favorite TV shows:

Above all else: the "Dick Van Dyke Show" (1961-66). The rest of my top-5 would include "Hawaii 5-0" (1968-80), "All in the Family" (1971-79), the Honeymooners (1955-56) and "Star Trek" (1966-69)

Favorite Books:

I'm a big autobiography fan.  Among my top favorites were those by Dick Van Dyke, Shirley Jones, Mel Brooks and Tommy James.  My favorite fictional author is Erle Stanley Gardner (who wrote the original Perry Mason novels from 1933 through the early '70s.

Favorite Foods:

I can be kept pretty satisfied with a good burger & fries... though I'd never turn down a little Italian delicacy.

Favorite Local Town and Why:

Mendon.  I have many friends that run excellent small businesses in this great town...an area which I find to be a perfect mix of town and country.

Favorite Restaurants in the Area:

Goodstuff Smokehouse in Blackstone.  Their brisket is out of this world... and try the onion strings !

Pet Peeves:

Get back to me when you have an hour to listen while I gripe.

Guilty Pleasures:

Ketchup.  ("I put that $#!t on everything")

What reality show would you most likely be the star of?

"My poor, beleaguered wife."

Where could we find you on a weekend afternoon?

During the warm weather months, out hosting a car show somewhere. Otherwise, I'll be home enjoying my own 4 rural acres of peace & quiet. (probably from the garage, lol)

Do you have any unique skills?

Using sarcasm at just the wrong time.  You'd be amazed at the looks I've gotten.

What’s the best concert you have attended?

Billy Joel, far and away.  His  "Bridge" tour in 1986 was stupendous.

Words of wisdom:

"Life is like a sewer.  What you get out of it depends on what you put into it."

-Tom Lehrer, 1965
