1925 - 2025
She was born in Weymouth on March 9, 1925, the daughter of Raymand F. and Maude (Stusse) Coe, and was a graduate of Mendon High School’s Class of 1942. Rita built a long and steady career as an office administrator, spending many years at Charlescraft Printing Company in Milford after earlier positions at Stylon Tile and the former Draper Corporation in Hopedale.
Rita enjoyed a variety of hobbies throughout her life, including playing piano, crocheting, and ice skating. She treasured traveling and camping with her husband, particularly summers spent on a lake in Plymouth, and she found great joy in walking and biking along the Cape Cod Canal.
She is survived by her sons, John H Nealley, Jr. of Upton and Craig A. Nealley, of Boston; two brothers: Raymond Coe of Plymouth, MA and Robert and his wife Ann Coe of Jacksonville, FL; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son a Mark Nealley and a sister Rosamond Thomas.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Hopedale Village Cemetery in Hopedale.
