1937 - 2026
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Irene (Sullivan) Collins. Trudy earned an associate degree in bookkeeping from MassBay Community College in Wellesley before becoming a dance teacher for many years. She also worked at the Learning School for the Deaf in Framingham and was a member of the United Country Western Dance Association.
In addition to her husband, Trudy is survived by her children, Jodie Culcasi and her husband Peter of Northbridge, and John Soave and his wife Diane of Worcester; her brothers, Michael Collins of Syracuse, New York, and Jerry Collins of Salem, New York; her sisters, Irene Collins of Hudson, New York, and Marylou Dickey of Salem, New Hampshire; and her grandchildren, Madison Culcasi and Katie Russell.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Karen Chiumento, and her siblings, John Collins, Patsy Collins, and John Bilodeau.
Burial will take place Thursday, October 29th at 11:15 AM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, located at Connery Avenue in Bourne.
