Therese Elizabeth (Rousseau) Crowley, 97, of Franklin
1929 - 2026

Born in Framingham on October 13, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Albert J. and Elizabeth (Morey) Rousseau. Therese was a graduate of Framingham High School and the Framingham Union Hospital School of Nursing, going on to serve as a Registered Nurse. She worked at both Framingham Union Hospital and Pondville Hospital.

In addition to her nursing career, Therese served as a Red Cross nurse, directing blood banks at St. Joseph’s Church in Medway, demonstrating her deep commitment to caring for others and her community.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth T. Fleming and her husband Thomas of Wellesley; John J. Crowley and his wife Roberta of Norfolk; Katherine M. Parker and her husband Shane of Maumelle, Arkansas; and Charles A. Crowley and his wife Dorothy of Rockville Centre, New York. She is also survived by her sister, Jeanne Taylor of Hopkinton.

Therese leaves behind a large and loving family, including her grandchildren Michael, Katelyn, Matthew, and Bridget Fleming; John, Daniel, and Thomas Crowley; Mae, Andrea, and Max Crowley; and step-grandchildren Brittany Parker and Lindsay Kischko. She is also survived by her great-granddaughter, Jane Crowley, as well as several step-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings Eugene, Albert, John, and Frederick Rousseau; Louise Flannery; Wilhelmina Donlan; Elizabeth Kadra; Phyllis Chenard; Edna Carr; Katherine Svendsen; Rita Wight; and Pauline LaForce.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 22, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street, Medway.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 23, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church in Medway, followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
