1933 - 2026
Theresa was raised in Franklin, where she attended Franklin schools and graduated from Franklin High School in 1950. She went on to work in secretarial positions with various Massachusetts agencies, later choosing to retire early to care for her aging father, a role she embraced with devotion and selflessness.
With the exception of living in Providence, Rhode Island for several years, Theresa returned to Franklin, which she always considered “home.” She resided in her childhood home for most of her life, a place filled with memories and family history.
Theresa is survived by her daughter, Esther Leveille and her husband Steve of Hudson, Massachusetts; her son, Louis DeAngelis and his wife Barbara of Wareham, Massachusetts; her grandson, Nicholas DeAngelis of Wareham; and her brother, Carlo Geromini of Franklin. She is also lovingly remembered by eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Liana DeAngelis Davis, as well as her siblings Inez Gulino, Dino Geromini, Balda Nasuti, Mary Boiteau, Caroline Bucci, and Frank Geromini.
Per Theresa’s wishes, calling hours are omitted. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lydia Taft House, 60 Quaker Highway, Uxbridge, MA 01569, or Faith and Family Hospice, 400 Donald Lynch Blvd., #104, Marlboro, MA 01752. Both of these agencies provided comfort to Theresa in her final days and will always hold a special place in the hearts of her family.
Arrangements are under the care of the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
