Born and raised in Holliston, MA, Suzanne attended Holliston High School and built a successful career in the construction industry, beginning with Perini Corporation in Framingham and later working for S&R Corporation in Lexington. Known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and loyalty, Suzanne earned the respect and friendship of everyone she worked with.
A woman of deep faith, Suzanne was an active member of New Hope Community Church in Ayer, where she cherished her church family and drew strength from her relationship with Jesus Christ. Her favorite verse, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13), reflected her unshakable spirit and faith-filled approach to life.
Suzanne had a lifelong love of animals, especially horses and dogs, and she was known for her gentle heart and compassion toward all living creatures.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John G. and Ann Peterson. Suzanne is survived by her siblings: Jack Peterson of Huntsville, Alabama; Sally (Martin) Hayes of Shrewsbury; and Nancy (Dana) Hewins of Lakeville, Massachusetts. She also leaves behind several cherished nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends who will forever remember her warmth, humor, and faith.
A celebration of Suzanne’s life will be held at a later date.
