Shelly L. Sepulveda, 49, of Medway
1977 - 2026

Shelly was born in Amarillo, Texas, the daughter of Roger M. Sepulveda and Carol J. (Pendleton) Sepulveda. She was raised in Texas and built a life defined by determination, compassion, and service to others.

She was a graduate of Borger, TX High School, Class of 1995, and continued her education with a clear sense of purpose. Shelly earned her associate degree from Frank Phillips Junior College in Las Vegas, NV in 1997, followed by a nursing degree from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ in 2005. Never one to stop learning, she went on to earn a dual Master’s Degree in Nursing & Business from Grand Canyon University in 2010, and ultimately achieved her Doctorate in Nursing from Capella University in 2020.

Shelly’s nursing career was both accomplished and wide-ranging. She began working as a NICU Registered Nurse from 1998 to 2010, later advancing into leadership roles as a NICU Supervisor and Manager from 2010 to 2013. She then shared her expertise as a Clinical Nursing Instructor and Professional Development Manager from 2013 to 2016, before serving as a Clinical Documentation Manager from 2016 to 2024. Her dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence left a lasting impact on colleagues and patients alike.

Shelly had been a resident of Medway since 2013. Prior to settling there, she lived in Champaign, IL, San Francisco, CA, Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ, and Borger, TX, experiences that shaped her broad perspective and love for people from all walks of life.

She was a proud and devoted member of the Rotary Club of Boston; the YMCA – Livestrong; and ACDIS, remaining actively engaged in professional and community service throughout her life. Shelly was also an avid fan of Boston sports teams, cheering passionately for the New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, and Boston Bruins. Beyond sports, she enjoyed vintage cars, crocheting, dancing, and her many family pets, finding joy in both quiet moments and shared laughter.

Along with her beloved wife, Tami Sue, of Medway, Shelly is survived by her ten children: Jennifer Stawarski of Geneva, IL; Kirsten Peacock, Nicholas Andsager, and Alec Andsager of Chandler, AZ; Samuel, Abigail, Shaelin, Tyler, Kameron, and Noah Sepulveda, all of Medway, MA. She is also survived by her parents, Roger M. Sepulveda and Carol Jeanette Sepulveda of Amarillo, TX; her sibling, Maurita Carol Pleasant and her husband Dwayne Pleasant of Argyle, TX; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless loving family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday (February 4th) at 12:00 noon at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford, MA. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Medway, MA. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday (February 3rd) from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
