1943 - 2025
Born in Cambridge on January 17, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Warren and Alice Ruth (Frado) Varney. Sandra grew up in Sudbury and graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School before attending Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin. She had lived in Franklin for the past 22 years.
Throughout her life, Sandra worked as a daycare provider, caterer, and realtor. She treasured her many years of vacationing in Truro and found joy in cooking, baking, fishing, reading, listening to music, and writing poetry. Her greatest happiness came from time spent with her family, especially her four beloved grandchildren.
She is survived by her three daughters: Monica Tashjian of Framingham; Aleece Fitzgerald and her significant other, Patrick Weafer, of Franklin; and Courtney Harrington and her husband Derek, also of Franklin, along with their children Madison, Sydney, Jake, and Elle. She is also survived by her sister, Linda MacKey, and her husband John of Sutton, and their three children.
The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to all who have offered love and support during this difficult time.
