1953 - 2026
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Irene Haynes. Sally grew up in Oxford and graduated from Oxford High School. She later attended classes at Dean College and went on to build a long and dedicated career. She worked for many years at Milford Hospital and EMC and held various payroll and administrative roles throughout her professional life.
Sally treasured time with her family and found joy in life’s simple pleasures — days at the beach, gardening, caring for animals, playing cards, enjoying chocolate and iced coffee, listening to music, and reading about history. She was known for her humor, kindness, and for often being the life of the party. Her gentle spirit and warm personality brought comfort and laughter to those around her.
She is survived by her daughter, Rachael Lane; Rachael’s husband, Dennis Lane; and their children, Tyler, Conner, Jacob, Quinn, and Avery. Sally is also survived by her siblings and their spouses: Maryann White and Keith Mosier; Ron and Christine Yablonski; Susan and Y. Gaetan Pelletier; Ken Anderson, husband of her late sister Joan; Karen Gauthier; and Marc and Patty Haynes.
She was predeceased by her sister Joan Anderson; her brother-in-law William White; and her parents. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home in Milford. Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sally’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association at:
