A graduate of Uxbridge High School and the former David Hale School for Nursing in Worcester, Ruth dedicated her career to caring for others. She worked at the former St. Camillus Healthcare Center and Beaumont Skilled Nursing Center and also served as a nurse and substitute teacher in the Northbridge public school system. She was remembered for her patience, dependability, and genuine concern for the people she served.
Ruth’s greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence R. Lague of Northbridge, and her daughter, Amy L. Lague of Grafton. She also leaves six grandchildren, including Jacob Ledlow, Taylor Lague, and Dylan Lague, and three great-grandchildren, including Amiyah, Azelyn, and Avery. She was predeceased by her son, Jason Lague.
In her free time, Ruth enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and watching old western movies and television shows. She will be remembered for her gentle heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love for her family and the many people she touched throughout her life.
