1933 - 2026
Born on June 9th, 1933, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Rosie brought warmth, kindness, and unwavering love wherever life took her alongside her late husband, Robert "Bob" Heglund. As their family grew, so did her capacity for compassion, becoming a constant source of comfort and light to those around her.
Rosie found joy in life's simple pleasures. She cherished the quiet rhythms of home, found strength in her faith and the fellowship of others, and never lost her ability to find laughter in everyday moments. Her home reflected her love of history and treasured memories, filled with antiques, keepsakes, and the stories that connected generations of family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Pat Macomber and her husband, Larry; Chris Heglund and his wife, Lisa; Kathy Zerba; and Carol Heglund and her husband, Rick. She also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Justin Eveland and his wife, Shawna; Terry Eveland and his wife, Delia; Shannon Macomber and her husband, Corey; Ryan Macomber and his wife, Cat; and Meghan Macomber. Rosie was also the proud great-grandmother of Jenna, Jaxson, and Finn.
