Born May 19, 1940 in Nashua, New Hampshire, Paul was the son of the late Robert and Phyllis (Nichols) Moody. He was a graduate of Hopkinton High School, Class of 1959, and went on to build a successful professional and civic life rooted in the Hopkinton and Milford communities.
Mr. Moody was employed for twenty-five years as a Sales Representative for Kimberly-Clark, retiring in 2005. In addition to his career, Paul was deeply involved in local government and public service. He served for twenty-five years on the Hopkinton Zoning Board of Appeals and was a member of the Republican Town Committee in Hopkinton. He took pride in staying active in his community and contributing his time and experience.
Paul enjoyed bike riding and was an avid photographer, hobbies that reflected his appreciation for both activity and creativity.
In addition to his wife Frances, Paul is survived by his son, Robert P. Moody of Milford, and his daughter, Shannon L. Moody of Hopkinton, as well as three grandchildren: Robert Moody III, Dana Remian, and Zachary Remian. He was predeceased by his daughter, Robyne A. Moody; his daughter-in-law, Barbara Moody; and his sister, Gail Moody.
Funeral services are private.
Burial will be held in the spring at Pinegrove Cemetery in Milford.
