Bobby leaves behind his beloved daughter, Tanya Hedtler, and his two cherished grandchildren, Ellie and Julian. He is also survived by his sisters, Paula Pasquantonio, Jean Bassignani, and Karen Gagnon; his sister-in-law, Judith Bassignani; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
He was predeceased by his brother, Stephen Bassignani; his brother-in-law, Samuel Pasquantonio; and his sister-in-law, Joy Orlando.
Whether family and friends knew him as Bubbo, Bobby, Bob, Robert, Bad Ass Bass, or simply Bass, Bobby was truly one of a kind. He played hockey at Franklin High School and spent many years working at Norfolk Prison.
Bobby enjoyed the simple things in life. He could often be found tending to his garden, cheering on the Boston Bruins, or listening to Rod Stewart a little louder than necessary. His personality, passions, and unique sense of humor left lasting memories with everyone who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
