
1938 - 2026
Born on July 21, 1938, in Milford, Massachusetts, Robert was the son of the late Daniel and Leona (Murray) Pellegrino.
Robert was raised in Milford and attended Saint Mary’s Central Catholic High School. He later married and raised his family in Hopedale before moving to Uxbridge in 2017. He proudly served in the Massachusetts National Guard and went on to build a long career, working for more than 30 years as an Order Writer with Dennison Manufacturing Company. He later worked in security for TJX Corporation in Framingham until his retirement.
A member of Saint Mary’s Parish in Uxbridge, Robert enjoyed reading, watching classic films, and collecting watches. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Carol, he is survived by his daughters, Tracy Wagner and her husband Stephen of Uxbridge, and Robyn Tower and her husband Joel of Nashua, New Hampshire. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Alycia Giordano, Matthew Wagner, and Kevin Wagner, as well as two great-granddaughters, Amelianna and Giavanna Giordano. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Ronald Barsanti and Francis Podedwory, along with several nieces and nephews.
Robert was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Podedworny, and his brothers-in-law William and June Meaden, and Patricia Barsanti.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Saint Mary’s Church on Mendon Street in Uxbridge, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
Burial will take place at a later date at Hopedale Village Cemetery in Hopedale.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester and Notre Dame Health Care for their compassionate care.
Donations in Robert’s memory may be made to the Saint Mary’s Church – Second Century Capital Campaign at 77 Mendon Street in Uxbridge.
