1935 - 2025
Rita was the wife of the late Charles M. Piso who passed away in 1996. Their marriage was blessed with one daughter, Gina M. Piso, to whom Rita was deeply devoted. Professionally, Rita dedicated many years of service as a nursing aide at Saint Patrick’s Manor in Framingham, retiring in 2018. She was also a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, a faith that remained important throughout her life.
Those closest to Rita remember her strong personality and strength through adversity. She was known for her deep compassion and sense of responsibility toward others, especially as she lovingly cared for her mother Angelina and her daughter Gina through their long-term illnesses. Rita also found companionship and joy in her two beloved dogs, Pierre and Max.
Rita is survived by her sister, Mary Lamborghini of Providence, Rhode Island. She also leaves behind the family with whom she lived, her nephews Christopher and Mathew Cormier, along with Christopher’s wife, Barbara, and their children, Sophie and Camilla, who shared a close and meaningful bond with her.
She was predeceased by her only child, Gina, as well as her siblings Joseph DeMaria, Vincent DeMaria, Lucy Cormier, Nicholas DeMaria, Theresa Lizotte, and Angelo DeMaria.
Calling hours will be held Monday, December 22, 2025 from 8:30 to 10 A.M., followed by a funeral home service at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St., Milford, MA. Burial will be private.
