Renee M. Purdy, 56, of Bellingham,MA, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Lake Ave. N., Worcester, MA. Born in Framingham, MA on December 1, 1967. She is the daughter of late James E. and Yvette Irene (Beaudet) Purdy, and the sister of Denise Farrell and her husband, Scott of Whitinsville, MA. She is also survived by her Great Aunt, Irene Laliberte, of Blackstone, MA and two cousins, Walter Beaudet of Bellingham, MA and Leo Beaudet of Blackstone, MA.
Renee was a resident of Bellingham for 30 years formerly of Shrewsbury, MA. She was a graduate of Shrewsbury High School.
Renee found crocheting to be very peaceful and loved listening to music from Mozart to Metallica. Renee knew of Scott’s love of music and would send him a text when she found something extra interesting to share. She had an absolute devotion for her Aunt Irene and loved helping her “Driving Miss Daisy”. She was willing to help any family member or friend in need. Renee loved heavy cream in her tea and was always the last one to finish a meal. We cannot see a “plaid” pattern anywhere and not think of Renee. We will very much miss the homemade, handmade Christmas ornaments she created. Renee had an opportunity to see her family and close friends prior to passing away. She will be greatly missed by many.
