Renaud Oneil Collin, 84, of Upton
1941 - 2026

Born in St. Hilaire, New Brunswick, Canada, he was the son of the late Henri and Clara Collin and one of fourteen children. As a young man, he married the love of his life, Corinne, before immigrating to the United States and settling in Sudbury, where they raised their two children, Tracy and Shawn.

Renaud was a hardworking entrepreneur who owned and operated a flooring business for many years, often working alongside his children and making it a true family endeavor.

A true outdoorsman, Renaud found joy in nature throughout his life. He raised chickens, built a koi pond at his home in Upton, and even hatched and raised a peacock. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, leaving behind cherished memories reflected in his mounted trophies and the rifles and fishing rods he proudly passed down to his grandchildren.

He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his strong family values, and his quiet confidence and faith. In his final moments, he found peace, surrounded by those he loved.

Renaud is survived by his wife, Corinne Collin; his children, Tracy Riddle of Portland, Maine, and Shawn Collin of Northridge; his grandchildren, Dylan Riddle and his wife Rebecca, Cameron Riddle and his wife Casey, and Bailey Riddle; and his great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Matilda, and Mia Riddle. He is also survived by his siblings, Albertine Pierce, Gilles Collin and his wife Clare, Venise Michaud and her husband Raymond, and Bertrand Collin and his wife Rachel, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and his siblings Lucien, Adrien, Cecile, Rina, Ronald, Marthe, Real, Gertrude, and Norman.
