Born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Alice “Nancy” and Edward Muther.
Peter is survived by his loving siblings, Timothy Muther and his wife, Barbara, of Hopedale, and Dianne Muther Burgess of Holliston. He also leaves behind his beloved grandson, William Lonergan of Holliston, who brought him great joy.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer Lonergan, and his brother-in-law, Walter Burgess.
Funeral services will be held privately and are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston.
Peter will be remembered fondly by those who knew him for his quiet strength, deep love for his family, and the warmth he shared with those around him.
