Born on January 22nd, 1954, in Milford, Peter was the son of the late John N. and Elsie B. Robinson. He graduated from Medway High School with the Class of 1972 before earning his bachelor's degree from Plymouth State College in 1976. During both high school and college, Peter was an accomplished cross-country runner and developed a lifelong love of running.
Peter proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Specialist 5 Biological Sciences Researcher. During his military service, he was stationed at The Presidio and later at the U.S. Army Research and Development Center in Natick. Following his service, he continued his passion for biological research, working for New England Nuclear, a subsidiary of DuPont, for many years.
In his free time, Peter enjoyed playing golf with his twin brother, John, fellow club members, and in tournaments at local country clubs. He was also a devoted fan of the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and the Professional Golfers' Association.
Peter is survived by his brothers, Mark Robinson of Hopedale, Paul Robinson of Norfolk, and Keith Robinson of Quincy; his sisters, Elizabeth Lowther of Milford, Nancy Gifford of Salem, and Julie Gorman of Medway; and fifteen cherished nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers, John M. Robinson and David W. Robinson.
Private funeral services will be held by the family.
