
1941 - 2026
Born in Boston on January 10th, 1941, Paul was the son of the late James and Sarah (Vallely) McKenna. He was raised in Jamaica Plain and made Franklin his home for the past 63 years.
Paul worked for many years as a mason and was a member of Local 3. During his career, he spent many years working for the Bowdoin Company in Needham.
Paul also proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps during the 1960s.
He is survived by his children, Rachel Purdon of Franklin and Sean McKenna and his wife, Andrea, of Franklin.
Paul was the proud grandfather of Kayla Miliano and her husband, Zack; Sarah Kirby and her husband, Miles; Hannah Minogue and her husband, David; and Calvin and Brody McKenna. He also leaves his great-granddaughters, McKenna Grace Kirby, Leita Ann Kirby, and Mia Rose Miliano.
Paul was predeceased by his wife, Leita; his brothers, James McKenna and Richard McKenna; and his son-in-law, Michael Purdon.
At Paul’s request, all funeral services will be private.
Arrangements are under the care of the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin.
Donations in Paul’s memory may be made to the American Red Cross, located at 180 Rustcraft Road in Dedham.
