1940 - 2026
Born in Springfield, Paul was the son of the late Ruth (Moran) and Paul Edmond Sullivan Sr. He was an Army Air Corps veteran and served in the 82nd Airborne.
Paul had a lifelong love of aviation and spent many years traveling by plane. He especially enjoyed flying to the Bahamas and island hopping, as well as trips to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and destinations throughout the country. Nantucket held a special place in his heart. He and Carolyn were married there in 1982 and returned many times over the years.
Paul was also a longtime member of AA, where he helped many people throughout the years. He served for several years on the Keefe Tech School Board in Framingham.
In addition to his wife, Carolyn, Paul is survived by his son, Paul Edmond Sullivan III and his wife, Margaret, of Upton; his grandchildren, Patrick Sullivan and his partner, Samantha, and Shawn Sullivan and his partner, Kelly; and his great-granddaughter, Alexa Sullivan and her partner, Jose.
A funeral service will be held Friday, October 2nd, at 4:00 PM at the Faith Community Church, located at 146 East Main Street in Hopkinton. Guests are welcome to arrive a little early to view photographs. A reception will follow.
Private burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton.
