1929 - 2026
A proud graduate of Hopedale High School, she carried her love of learning throughout her life. Patricia dedicated 25 years as a supervisor at Milford Regional Medical Center, where her sharp mind, steady leadership, and thoughtful problem-solving earned the admiration of colleagues and friends alike. Her professionalism reflected the same care and consideration she showed in her personal life.
Outside of work, Patricia found joy in both intellect and connection. She was an enthusiastic Bridge player who not only enjoyed the game herself but taught others, sharing her expertise and fostering a sense of community among the many Bridge clubs to which she belonged. Reading was another lifelong passion, offering her endless opportunities to explore new ideas and stories.
Travel and time in nature were especially meaningful to Patricia, experiences she treasured alongside her beloved husband, Elroy W. Johnson, who predeceased her in 2001. Together, they embraced adventure and created lasting memories.
Family remained at the heart of everything she did. Patricia is survived by her sons: Mark Johnson and his wife Noreen of Swanzey, NH; Paul Johnson and his partner Celine Blaisdell of Bellingham; Christopher Johnson and his husband Kenneth Repp of Waltham; and her brother, John McKeon and his wife Leslie of Teaneck, NJ. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren—Matthew, Joseph, Evan, and Aran—and her six great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy.
She is also remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, an uncle, and cousins. Patricia was predeceased by her sister, Nancy Cyr, and her parents, John and Ida (Gould) McKeon.
