1961 - 2025
Pamela is survived by her brother Bruce Thomas of Douglas; her sisters Charlene Wilson of Northbridge and Patricia Parente of Northborough; and her sister-in-law Maria Thomas. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephew — Martha Huggins, Molly Hollibaugh, and Noah Thomas (children of Bruce); Ashley and Lindsay Wilson (daughters of Charlene); and Sophie Parente (daughter of Patricia). Pamela is also survived by many cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
For the past twenty-three years, Pamela found purpose and fulfillment in her work at J.H. Pokorny Associates, where she was a dedicated and valued member of the team. Beyond her career, she shared her creativity and love of art through teaching Zentangle, a meditative drawing practice that brought her joy and connection with others. Pamela was known for her warmth, kindness, and her ability to build lasting friendships both near and far.
Her family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to the caring medical staff at UMass Memorial (Nichole, Karen, and Maria) and Rose Monahan Hospice (Erica, Sharon, and Kayla) for their compassionate care. Special thanks are also extended to David, Janet, Cindy, and Laura for their unwavering love and support.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Buma Funeral Home, 101 N. Main Street, Uxbridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Mendon Street, Uxbridge. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Granite Street, Uxbridge.
