John Charles Meade, 79, of Mendon, passed away peacefully at his home on October 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Phyllis (Howard) Meade, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage.

Services are October 24 for Robert D. Lorenzo who passed away October 12. Rob dedicated 32 years of service to the Milford Fire Department and served as a superintendent at Hopedale Village Cemetery. He was an avid poker player and enjoyed fishing, golf, hunting and cruise vacations. Arrangements are with the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home. 

Nancy P. (Kelly) Hovsepian, 86, of Holliston, entered into eternal rest on October 13, 2025, surrounded by her family after a full and joyous life. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Hovsepian.

Carolyn Lang, of Holliston, passed away peacefully on October 12, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband, Dan, and daughter, Amanda.

Charles Joseph Ligotti, Jr., 77, of Wrentham, passed away on October 11, 2025, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.

Barbara J. Griffin, 91, of Medway, Massachusetts, formerly of Milford and Cape Cod, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late John R. Griffin, with whom she shared 70 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2024.

Nancy Jean Beauregard, 83, of Northbridge, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025. She was the devoted wife of the late Edward Beauregard, with whom she shared more than 60 years of marriage, and the loving mother of Scott M. Beauregard and the late Steven E. Beauregard.

Mrs. Loreen A. (LaChapelle) Tavano, 79, of Milford, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday evening, October 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Dennis P. Tavano, with whom she shared 58 wonderful years of marriage.

Arthur Prentice Smith, 93, of Westborough, passed away on October 10, 2025, at Whitney Place surrounded by loved ones. He was the beloved husband of Charlotte Allen-Smith for 42 years.

Carol B. Ebbeling, 90, a lifelong resident of Whitinsville, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, after a brief stay at Cornerstone Assisted Living in Milford. Carol was the devoted wife of the late Kenneth Ebbeling, with whom she shared 70 happy years of marriage. She loved being Ken’s wife and soulmate, and together they enjoyed a lifetime of companionship, laughter, and love while raising their daughter, Lynn.

Mrs. Helen A. (Brown) Giroux, 84, of Milford, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, surrounded by the love and presence of her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother whose strength, independence, and warmth touched everyone who knew her.

Cheryl Ann Brote, 76, of Holliston, formerly of Franklin, passed away peacefully at her home on October 6, 2025. Born in Malone, New York, on February 19, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Dame) and Lester “Bing” Bessette, and the beloved sister of the late Sandy Smith.
